 ‘Who paid the attackers’?

During the interrogation it was revealed that the 4 accused shot at Bhim Army founder because the statements made by Azad had angered them over the course of past few months. Three of the dour accused Vikas, Prashant and Lovish, all belong to Saharanpur while the fourth accused Vikas belongs to Karnal.

A CBI investigation will expose who were involved in the conspiracy of attack. Police should honestly find out ‘who paid the attackers’, Azad demanded.

Alleged ‘Conspiracy’

Azad has been making the claim that the attack perpetrated on him is a part of conspiracy and the accused were paid to assassinate him. He has alleged that the attackers parked car new a Gurjar Village Miragpur, so that an ethnic clash could be instigated.

He has also made an appeal to police to not disturb the families of the accused. “If atrocities are committed against women, I will speak. No matter how many bullets someone fires, I am not afraid,” Bhim army chief stated.

Saharanpur SSP Vipin Tada has declined Chandra Shekhar’s allegations and said “Anyone can easily differentiate between a cartridge of .315 bore and other cartridges.” Bhim army mekmbers had given him emtpy cartridges of the bullets fired at Azad and they were of .315 bore. SSp has further said that bullets would be sent to forensic investigation. He also cleared the air around ethnic clash conspiracy by stating that the attackers left the car in village Miragpur because they were known to a person there.
