The dates for Bihar assembly elections 2020 were announced. Assembly elections will be held in three phases in Bihar. Assembly elections in Bihar will begin with voting on October 28 and the last phase of voting will be held on November 7.
On November 10, the results of the Bihar assembly elections will be revealed. Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said that the first phase of voting will be held on October 28, second phase voting on November 3 and third phase voting on November 7.
After this, the results of the Bihar assembly elections will be out on November 10. The term of the 243-member assembly of Bihar will end on 29 November.

Highlights of the Election Commission Conference-
- Candidates have to provide information on the website.
- Only two people can go for nomination.
- All polling stations will remain on the ground floor.
- Election campaign will be virtual and Nomination will also be done online.
- Advertisement in newspaper about criminal cases.
- No more than five people can go home and promote.
- The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in the state has come into force with this declaration. The Commission has already made elaborate arrangements to ensure effective implementation of the MCC guidelines.
- Corona infected patients will be able to cast their vote in the last hours of voting but under the supervision of health officials.
- Not more than two vehicles can be used in enrollment.
- Adherence to social distancing will be necessary in election campaigning.
- The voting time has been extended by one hour. Voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm.
- Total voters in the state are seven crore 18 lakhs. In which women voters are 39 million.
- Only one thousand voters will be able to vote at a booth.
