BJP promises Uniform Civil Code in its Himachal Pradesh manifesto

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its election manifesto for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. Launching the manifesto, BJP National President JP Nadda said that this ‘Sankalp Patra’ of the party is based on a total of 11 promises. He said that BJP would work towards bringing uniformity in the society, strengthening farmers to youth, providing justice to government employees and promoting religious tourism. BJP has promised to provide 8 lakh jobs and implement Uniform Civil Code in Himachal Pradesh.

Promise to bring Uniform Civil Code in Himachal also BJP has promised to create more than 8 lakh jobs in Himachal Pradesh. JP Nadda has said that these jobs and employment will also include employment opportunities given in the Economic Zone of Himachal Pradesh. He has also promised to bring Uniform Civil Code in Himachal Pradesh. Nadda has said that a committee will be formed for this and on the basis of the report of the same committee, Uniform Civil Code will be brought in Himachal Pradesh.

Big promises of BJP:-

Shakti Yojana will be launched. Under this scheme, a total of Rs 12,000 crore will be spent in 10 years for the development of basic facilities and transport facilities of the state.

This development will be done in the vicinity of religious places and temples. These areas will be connected by ‘Himtirth Circuit’.

8 lakh employment opportunities will be created in Himachal in a planned manner.

These will also include government jobs given in the work being done under the economic zone.

Uniform Civil Code will be implemented in Himachal Pradesh. For this a committee of experts will be formed.

On the basis of the report of the committee, the process of Uniform Civil Code will proceed.

Survey of waqf properties will be done within the legal framework and their illegal use will be stopped.

5 new medical colleges will be opened in Himachal Pradesh. Keeping in mind the primary health facilities, the number of mobile clinics will be doubled in each assembly.

Promise to give 33 percent reservation to women in government jobs.

Promise to give bicycles to girls up to class 12th and scooty free to girls studying in graduation.
