Controversy Arises Over Assam Chief Minister, Sadhguru’s Kaziranga Park Night Safari

There has been a controversy over the visit of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev to Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Two activists there alleged that Sadhguru, CM Sarma and Tourism Minister Jayant Malla Barua took a night safari in the national park, which is a direct violation of the rules. In this case, action should be taken against them. However, the Assam CM is claiming that everything has happened according to the rules in the National Park.

According to the information, activists Soneshwar Nara and Prabin Pegu have lodged a complaint with the Golaghat district police against Sadhguru, Sarma and Barua. He alleged that VIPs entered Kaziranga National Park after the scheduled time on Saturday night. The park is famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. By doing so they have violated the Wildlife Protection Act 1972. In which it has been said not to enter the animal’s house (forest) after the stipulated time. Apart from this, some videos are also going viral on social media, in which Sadhguru is seen driving an open safari SUV, in which CM Sarma and Barua were sitting.

Talking to the media, the CM said that this is not a violation of any rule. According to the Wildlife Act, the warden can allow entry into the protected area even at night. No law prevents people from entering at night. We had formally inaugurated the park. Sadhguru and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar have lakhs of followers, so it will be very good for tourism.

At the same time, Assam’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forests MK Yadav said that the Forest Department had invited Sadhguru and the Chief Minister. In such a situation, it is wrong to say that Sadhguru and our Chief Minister violated the rule by entering the park late at night. All arrangements were made for them, due to which they could not be canceled due to darkness.
