Delhi government will provide free Ayodhya Yatra to the elderly, decision taken in cabinet meeting

In a special cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, the Delhi government decided to include Ayodhya in the pilgrimage plan. Now the state government will take the elderly for free to visit Ramlalla in Ayodhya, UP.

In a press conference held after the meeting, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal told that Ayodhya has also been included in the pilgrimage plan of the Delhi government. Now the elders of Delhi will be able to visit Ramlala for free. Along with this, they will also be able to take a family member with them.

Kejriwal, who reached Ayodhya on Tuesday after worshiping Ram Lalla, had said, “Today I got the privilege of visiting the birthplace of Lord Ram and performing the aarti of Maa Saryu. I prayed to God that our country gets freedom from the COVID-19 pandemic. I had darshan of Hanuman ji in Hanuman Garhi in the morning. After having darshan of Shri Ramchandra ji, prayed that all the countrymen should always be happy, may everyone be blessed. I wish every Indian gets this good fortune.”

He had said that I promise to help as many people as possible to have darshan of Lord Rama with all my strength and resources. I want every Indian to have a chance to have darshan. We will hold a special cabinet meeting to include Ayodhya in the list of religious places under the free pilgrimage scheme for senior citizens in Delhi.
