Digital India campaign completes six years: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts

Today the Digital India campaign completes six years. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the beneficiaries. During this, he said that crores of Indians are benefiting from the platform developed from online education to medicine. Digital India has played an important role in providing health facilities far and wide.

PM Modi further said that we have experienced how easy Digital India has made our lives during the Corona pandemic. Imagine what would have happened in Corona if there was no digital connectivity. Digital India means opportunity for all, facility for all, participation for all. The Arogya Setu app has helped a lot in preventing corona infection.

Prime Minister Modi also said that one nation, one ration card is being made a reality only through Digital India. Due to this, migrant workers are benefiting the most, as they will no longer have to make new ration cards. DigiLocker is a good example of how effective Digital India has been. All important documents like school/college, Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID card can now be stored easily and securely on DigiLocker. The scale and pace of infrastructure development got more attention under Digital India Mission. Around 2.5 lakh CSCs in villages across India have taken the Internet to places where it was considered difficult some time ago.
