'Disappearing people from the farmers' movement is worrying says Delhi CM kejriwal, also released list of 115 people in jails

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has expressed concern over the disappearance of some people who took part in the peasant movement. Kejriwal said in a press conference that the issue of disappearance of farmers from picketing sites is a matter of grave concern. We are trying our best to bring them together.

Kejriwal said that in the last few days, many people have contacted us and told that the farmers who had come to participate in the farmers movement have not returned home. They cannot be found, they are missing. I can understand what will be happening to the people whose housemates do not return. It is the responsibility of all governments to find those who are missing and inform the families and hand them over. For the last few days, the people of the farmers association have contacted the government and me personally. Yesterday, some people from the farmers organization also came to meet me.

'The agitators will not allow trouble'
Kejriwal assured that the jail is under his rule and he will not let the agitators in jail face any trouble. The Delhi government also gave a list of 115 farmers who are in Tihar Jail to the farmer leaders. Assuring the farmers leaders that Kejriwal said that they will write a letter to the home minister of the country Amit Shah on the matters which are not in their jurisdiction. He said that he will also demand to start internet system immediately.

Free legal aid to missing youth
United Kisan Morcha has already announced free legal aid and all possible help to the jailed and missing youth. Members of the legal team of United Kisan Morcha are: Prem Singh Bhangu (Sayonjak), Rajinder Singh Deep Singh Wala, Kiranjit Singh Sekhon, Inderjit Singh, Kamaljeet Singh and Vikas Isar.

According to the statement issued by the Morcha, the Morcha leaders submitted a list of the 29 missing youths to the Chief Minister and requested to provide humanitarian facilities to the jailed protesters.

According to the statement, "Morcha demanded the formation of a medical board and said that medical examination would reveal the police brutality done to the farmers." The leaders also demanded a judicial inquiry into the entire case to expose the conspiracy behind the 26 January incident. "Farmer leaders also demanded that other vehicles of the farmers, including the tractors seized by the police, be returned. Along with Kejriwal, Delhi Home Minister Satyendra Jain and AAP MLA Raghav Chadha were also present in the meeting.
