G-20 Summit: A group present there recited Sanskrit shlokas, to this PM Modi replies “Om Namah Shivay”

For G-20 summit Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Rome. Notably G-20 will focus on sustainable development and climate change. “People, Planet and Prosperity”, is the theme of this meeting.

To pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Modi visited the Piazza Gandhi in Rome on Friday . There Modi interacted with few Indians.

One person asked, “Narendra bhai, kem chho? [How are you]”. To this, the PM replied, “Maha ma chho [I am fine]” with a smile.

The crowd also chanted slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Modi, Modi’. Also a group present there recited Sanskrit shlokas, to this PM Modi replies “Om Namah Shivay” with his folded hands.

Before Summit, Modi held a joint meeting with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. It is being said he will meet Pope Francis at the Vatican on Saturday morning.
