Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, while speaking on the occasion of Hindi Diwas today, described Hindi language as essential for national integration. He said that the use of Hindi in our affairs at the national level is very important.
Dharmendra Pradhan said, “Hindi language with many dialects has a special place in tying India in the thread of unity. Even today Hindi words are being used in many languages of the world. Happy Hindi Day to all.”
Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted on the occasion of Hindi Diwas and said that today on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, we take a pledge to be a partner in the upliftment of Hindi along with our mother tongue. This tweet of Dharmendra Pradhan has come at a time when many states are strongly opposing the imposition of Hindi language by the ruling BJP.
Dharmendra Pradhan has said that in the context of Hindi language, the framers of our constitution had a clear opinion that the use of Hindi in national practice is absolutely necessary for the unity and integrity of the country. Hindi is also complementary to the democratic system of our country due to its broadness and liberality. Hindi is discharging its important role in uniting the whole country by becoming the contact language of the whole country.
Dharmendra Pradhan said that it is the constitutional duty of every government officer and employee to follow the National Language Policy of the Union of India in official work. At the end of his tweet, Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the Hindi language, comprising many languages and dialects, has a special place in tying India in the thread of unity.
