During this, the video of her sweeping her room went viral.

In an India Today program, Himanta Biswa Sarma was shown a video of Priyanka Gandhi sweeping. He was asked that many people in India say that this will be a game changer for the Congress. Himanta Biswa Sarma said even before the question was completed.

By showing a video of a woman sweeping the floor, you are saying let me comment on it. I have always seen my mother sweeping the floor in the house. What is special in this? I don’t know why you guys make this. you come to my house. I do a lot in my house. Give me publicity too. People like you can be affected by this. But common people will say what is the big deal in this. I always do this. They do this all the time. So what’s the big deal in this? Do something big Do some great work like Kalpana Chawla. Then tell me look at Priyanka Gandhi, she has done a great job. If a woman is sweeping, then how can this be news. Have you not seen your mother sweeping the broom? Why are you insulting your mother?

He asked how was the camera there, when your mother sweeps, is there a camera there. Everyone can see that it was a publicity stunt.

Himanta Biswa Sarma recently said on the issue of violence during the removal of illegal occupation that there has been an arrest in this case. The land which has been occupied is 77 thousand acres and this land cannot be given to just one thousand families. The citizenship of most of those who were removed during the removal of encroachments was doubtful, but they were not removed because their citizenship was doubtful, they were removed because it is 77 thousand acres of land, and only 1 thousand families on it.

He said that there is a rule in Assam that a family can own only two acres of land. So in this way these families can keep only 2 thousand acres of land. Then what will happen to the remaining 75 thousand acres of land? Proper distribution of this land will be done. He said that the drive to remove illegal occupation goes on in the state, residents of Assam are also removed but then the Left Liberal does not make noise, the Left Liberal makes noise only when they benefit.
