Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the NASSCOM Technology and Leadership Forum (NTLF) today. This 29th conference of NTLF is to be held from 17 to 19 February. PM Modi said in his address, this time this forum is very special, because this is a time when the world is looking more towards India. PM Modi said that even in the Corona era, the IT sector has added 4 billion dollars, which is praiseworthy. During this time, the IT industry has proved why they are a strong pillar of India's development by giving millions of new jobs.

Stating the usefulness of the IT sector, PM Modi said that the IT sector of India had set its feet in the world many years ago. Now the current government is trying to get the IT sector out of unnecessary shackles. The PM also said that, even when every sector was affected by Corona, the IT sector achieved around 2 percent growth. At the same time, the IT industry proved why India is a strong pillar of development by giving millions of new jobs.

At the same time, on digital transaction, the PM said that, the more digital transactions are happening in the country, the more the sources of black money are getting reduced. He said that transparency is the most important condition of good governance. The same change is now happening on the governance of the country. This is the reason that in every survey the public's trust in the Government of India is growing stronger and stronger. He said that big centers of self-reliant India are becoming tier-2, tier-3 cities of the country today.

Emphasis on Made in India Technology: PM Modi emphasized on Made in India technology and said that at such a time, our technology should be made more and more Made in India. If we have to move forward in Indian technology, then for this we will also have to create new criteria for our competition. We have to compete with ourselves. Only then will there be a proper focus on Made in India technology.

The IT industry has proved that it is a strong development for India. In New India, every Indian, is impatient for progress. Our government understands this feeling of the youth of New India. The aspirations of more than 130 crore Indians inspire us to move forward at a fast pace.

The government has full faith in the citizens of the country, on startups, on innovators. Self certification is being encouraged with this confidence. In the last 6 years, the solutions that the IT industry has prepared, we have made them an important part of governance.

' Whether projects related to our infrastructure or the homes of the poor, Geo Tagging of every projects is being done so that they can be completed on time. Even today, drones are being mapped in the homes of villages, the human interface is being reduced in tax related matters.:

'Today large centers of self-reliant India are becoming tier-2, tier-3 cities of the country. The same city today is becoming a big center for demand and growth of IT based technology.'

'The youth of these small cities of the country are coming out as amazing innovators. The government's focus is also on building better infrastructure in these small cities.'
