Jharkhand: Soren government gave big relief, two wheelers will get 25 rupees cheaper petrol

The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has given a big gift to the people of the state on the completion of two years of its tenure. State Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced that, in Jharkhand, petrol and diesel will be cheaper by Rs 25 in the new year. But only BPL card holders will be able to take advantage of this cheap petrol and diesel. People will start getting its benefit from 26 January 2022.

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the government, CM Hemant Soren announced that the price of petrol and diesel is increasing continuously, due to which the poor and middle class people are the most affected. Therefore, the government will give a relief of ₹ 25 per liter on petrol for two wheelers from the state level. The people of the state will start getting the benefits from January 26, 2022. He said that 1.25 crore people will benefit from this decision.

Soren said that the government will cover the students with student credit cards, so that promising students do not face any difficulty in studying. The government is serious about the bank management not giving loans to the children of the tribal community. The government will solve this problem in the coming days. It is worth noting that Jharkhand Petroleum Dealers Association is continuously demanding from the government to reduce the VAT rates on petrol and diesel in the state.

The association said that VAT should be reduced from 22 percent to 17 percent. This will give relief to the people. Association officials say that in the neighboring states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar and Odisha, the price of diesel is low.
