Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects worth more than 400 crores at two places in Kaptanganj and Tamkuhiraj assembly constituencies of Kushinagar district. After this he addressed public meetings at both the places. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Kushinagar came on the world map because of Lord Buddha. He has presented it to the world. Buddha has brought the education and culture here in 13 powerful countries. The first flight from here will also be of an international ship.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived about 35 minutes late from the scheduled time, first started this program by lighting the lamp. Addressing the gathering, he said that from 1977 to 2017 till September, 700 to one thousand children were affected by encephalitis every year. Most of them used to kill children, but we are all grateful to the Prime Minister. He launched the Swachh Bharat Mission, brought the scheme of pure drinking water and ended this deadly disease. The CM said that since 1947, schemes were implemented on the basis of caste-religion, region and language. Today people are getting the benefits of the schemes without any discrimination. If the politics of the country was appeasement, there was terrorism, corruption, but today work is being done on the lines of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas.
