Lakhimpur Case: FIR has been registered against Priyanka Gandhi and 11 others

An FIR has been registered against 11 leaders for trying to go to Lakhimpur after the death of farmers. This FIR has happened in Sitapur, a district near Lakhimpur. The SHO of Sitapur’s Hargaon police station has said that Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, MP Deepender Hooda and Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu have been named in the FIR. A case of breach of peace has been registered against all.

Farmers protesting against the Deputy Chief Minister’s program were trampled by cars in Tikunia of Lakhimpur Kheri. The charge of carrying out the incident is on the son of Minister of State for Home Ajay Teni.

Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Deepender Hooda left for Lakhimpur on Sunday night after hearing the news of the death of 5 farmers. She was taken into custody in Sitapur on her way from Lucknow to Lakhimpur Kheri.

Priyanka was in continuous custody since then. Today, she has been arrested after registering an FIR against her.

Priyanka, who was kept in the guest house of PAC in Sitapur since Sunday night, has been arrested after nearly 30 hours of custody. A case has been registered against her under sections like violation of section 144 and apprehension of breach of peace.

Police will present him and other Congress leaders in the court today itself. On the other hand, Congress workers have also gathered outside the Sitapur PAC guest house since Sunday night and are continuously raising slogans against the Yogi government, demanding the release of Priyanka.
