Lok Sabha Election 2024: According to the latest ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey by Asianet News, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) enjoys a significant advantage in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with approximately 79 per cent of respondents favoring a government led by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the India alliance. The survey also indicates that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the preferred choice for the Prime Ministerial position.
BJP Holds Strong Advantage in Lok Sabha Polls
Released on Wednesday, the survey highlights the formidable challenge faced by the Opposition in the Lok Sabha battle, with the BJP maintaining a strong position. While a notable portion of respondents expressed concerns over the impact of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) decision on BJP’s electoral performance, a significant percentage believed it would have no effect.
Modi Remains Top Choice: Survey
In terms of rating the Modi government’s achievements, infrastructure development emerged as the top choice among respondents, with 38.11 per cent commending the government’s efforts in this regard. The Digital India initiative and the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign also garnered significant praise, reflecting diverse perspectives on the government’s accomplishments.
