Lok Sabha Speaker to hold all-party meet today ahead of Monsoon session

Monsoon session of Parliament is starting from Monday. Before this session, both the ruling party and the opposition have become active. Before the monsoon session, the government wants to take the opposition into confidence. Today, the leaders of the power and the opposition will discuss for the necessary work in the session and there is no conflict.

PM Narendra Modi will also attend the all-party meeting. The meeting will begin at 11 am in the Parliament Annexe. NDA meeting will also be held at 3 pm. Apart from this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will also hold a meeting with leaders of all parties at 4 pm. At the same time, at 6 pm, Sonia Gandhi has called a virtual meeting of party MPs. Before the Mansutra, all the parties are busy making a strategy. Meetings are going on. It is expected that a record of work will be made in Parliament and there will be no ruckus.

Ahead of the monsoon session, Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu held a meeting with various political parties at his official residence on Saturday. A tweet issued by the Vice President’s Office said, “Vice President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha M Venkaiah Naidu met leaders of various parties in the Rajya Sabha ahead of the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament today at the Vice President’s residence.”

This time in the Rajya Sabha, the new leader of the house is Piyush Goyal. He has replaced Thaawarchand Gehlot. Gehlot was recently appointed as the Governor of Karnataka. After this he resigned from the membership of the Union Cabinet and Rajya Sabha. Goyal had met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar and Congress deputy leader in Rajya Sabha Anand Sharma on Friday.
