Monsoon Session: Govt shares list of Bills likely to be taken up during Monsoon Session

Monsoon Session: As the opposition is gearing up to stall the parliament in the upcoming Monsoon session, the government has shared an all party meeting of the list of bills which are likely to be taken up during the Monsoon session of Parliament. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, V Murlidharan and Anurag Thakur also attended the meet.

Government planning to introduce 21 New Bills

The Government is planning to introduce 21 new bills. This includes Controversial Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi to replace the ordinance bill. The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, Registration of births and deaths amendment bill, Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, Mines and Mineral Amendment Bill, The Registration of births and deaths bill, The Cinematograph Bill, The Advocates Bill etc. The Monsoon session which concludes on August 11 is also likely to take up bills that were already introduced by Parliament.

AAP reaching out for support from Opposition Parties

The Aam Admi Party has also reached out to the parties to seek their support against the bill. The BJP is also preparing a strategy to make sure that the proposed law is passed by both the houses.
