MP News: On their four-day visit, Madhya Pradesh‘s former chief minister Kamal Nath and Chhindwara MP Nakul Nath have arrived in Chhindwara. He was met with a cordial welcome at the Imlikheda airfield by party officials and workers. Kamal Nath, the leader of the Congress, made a major announcement during this time when speaking with the media, outlining his position on rumours that he might join the BJP.

Dispelling the BJP Joining Rumors

The BJP joining rumours was put to rest by former chief minister Kamal Nath, who stated that they were just rumours and not to be taken seriously. These rumours never stop. He further stated that no one is dependent on anyone and that everyone is independent of the leaders who quit the party to join the BJP.

Party’s Decision on Lok Sabha Candidates

Regarding veterans running in the Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, Kamal Nath stated that the party will decide who will represent it in those elections. This is still up for debate. The ticket will only be offered to the chosen candidate. Acharya Pramod Krishnan responded to rumours that he will be joining the BJP by saying that everyone is free to go wherever they choose. Nobody has a party affiliation.

Speculations Arise After Kamal Nath’s Meeting

In fact, there was talk that former chief minister Kamal Nath would join the BJP following his meeting with state chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and minister Kailash Vijayvargiya.
