Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has given a big statement after the separation of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's party Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) from the Grand Alliance. Nitish Kumar said that it was okay if they parted ways, otherwise they would have conveyed the meeting of the opposition parties to the BJP on June 23. On being asked questions about Manjhi, CM Nitish Kumar also said that he was meeting the BJP as well and was also meeting the people here. We all knew this thing.
Along with this, Nitish Kumar also told why the alliance with Manjhi's party was broken?
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that when he had come to meet me, then only I had said that either merge the party with JDU, or else leave the Grand Alliance. Then he decided to go, it happened right.
CM Nitish Kumar also said that a meeting of opposition parties is going to be held on 23 June. Jitan Ram Manjhi also wanted to attend this meeting. People of all parties will keep their point in the meeting. Had Manjhi been with me, he would have conveyed everything to the BJP after hearing it from here, but he left before that, which is fine.
Will the Grand Alliance be affected?
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar further said that the departure of Jitan Ram Manjhi will not affect the Grand Alliance. The opposition is completely united. Nitish Kumar also praised JDU MLA Ratnesh Sada today. Nitish said that on the same day we had decided that Ratnesh Sada would be made a minister. Today the oath was taken.
