Pegasus case: Rahul Gandhi asked – whether the government bought Pegasus or not, answer in yes or no

The opposition is attacking the government over the Pegasus espionage scandal, inflation and agricultural laws. From Parliament to the road, the opposition is busy encircling the government. On Wednesday, MPs of 14 parties led by Rahul Gandhi took out a foot march from Parliament House to Viyaj Chowk. At Vijay Chowk, Rahul Gandhi said that the government is suppressing his voice in Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi said that Modi ji put the weapon of espionage in people’s phones. Judges, journalists have been spied on. After all, why is espionage being conducted in a democracy, the use of espionage is against the country. This is an attack on the democracy of India. The opposition is demanding a discussion on this issue in the House, but the government is not ready for the discussion. Rahul Gandhi while talking to reporters said that whether the government had bought Pegasus software or not, why he does not give clarification on this.

There was a lot of uproar in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Wednesday as well over the Pegasas espionage scandal. The opposition parties are adamant on the demand of the government to discuss the issue in the House and are seeking answers from the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. At the same time, the ruling party is accusing the opposition of not allowing the House to function and not discussing.

The opposition is attacking the Pegasus espionage scandal, due to which the proceedings of Parliament have been stalled so far. Leaders of opposition parties are demanding answers from the Prime Minister and the Home Minister in this matter. Although a reply was given on this issue by the Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the opposition is adamant on the demand for a reply from the PM and the Home Minister.

There has been a deadlock in both the houses of Parliament for the past several days over Pegasus and some other issues. The Monsoon session had started from July 19, but till now the proceedings of both the houses have been disrupted. Opposition parties say that the deadlock in Parliament will end only after the government is ready to discuss the Pegasus espionage issues.
