PM addresses trainee IPS officers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing trainee IPS officers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy via video conferencing on Saturday. During the conversation, PM Modi told the trainee officers that youth like you have a big responsibility. Prime Minister Modi said that the education of officers is useful in the service of the country. PM Modi said that if the police officers strengthen their fitness, then the society will also be better. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai are also present on this occasion.

Trainee officers are giving information about future plans to PM Modi. Along with this, he is also sharing his experience. These trainee officers will handle important police responsibilities in the years to come. PM Modi interacting with trainee IPS officers. 144 trainee police officers are involved in this dialogue.

PM Modi said that the date of August 15 of this year is bringing with it the 75th anniversary of independence. In the last 75 years, India has tried to build a better police service. The infrastructure related to police training has also improved a lot in recent years.

He said that it is my endeavor every year to interact with young colleagues like you. Keep knowing your thoughts constantly. Your thoughts, questions, curiosity, will be helpful for me too in dealing with future challenges.

Referring to the historic Dandi March, PM Modi said that with the Salt Satyagraha, Mahatma Gandhi had talked about shaking the foundation of the British Raj in 1930. He started the Dandi March from Sabarmati with a small group of people. The tide that rose in the country between 1930 and 1947, the way the youth of the country came forward, the whole young generation got united for one goal, today the same sentiment is expected within you. At that time the people of the country fought for Swaraj. Today you have to move forward for Surajya.
