Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 'Independence of Amrit Mahotsav' program on Monday through video conferencing. Prime Minister Modi said, 'We have to celebrate this 75 years of independence by taking 130 crore countrymen along and joining them. Public participation is the basic spirit of this event. In a way, this effort is how this 75-year event of Independence should be celebrated as this Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the festival of the people of India, in every heart of India.

He said, 'There are many people who have been doing some great work for the country and society for many generations. Their thinking and ideas have to be brought to the fore. The country has to connect with their efforts. This is also the basic spirit of this Amrit Festival.

He said that it should be a festival in which there is a tribute to the martyrs of the country and also a resolve to make India of their dreams. In which there is a glimpse of the glory of Sanatan Bharat, which also has the glow of modern India.

He said that we have to celebrate this festival of 75 years of independence by taking 130 crore countrymen along and joining them. Public participation is the basic spirit of this event.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister suggested that at the stage of 75 years of independence, the freedom movement should move forward with ideas, achievements, actions and resolutions and all these should include the sentiments of 130 crore people of the country.

PM Modi said, today India is doing everything that was not imaginable till a few years ago. When the country celebrates 75 years of independence, the country will move towards those goals, take strong steps to achieve those which once seemed impossible.

Modi said, the country cannot progress by denying anyone's contribution. The country moves ahead with everyone's contributions and everyone's respect. He said, we can move forward by adopting this mantra.
