Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday challenged jobs, development and education, challenging Mamata Banerjee’s ‘Khela Hobe’ slogan in the electoral state of West Bengal.
PM Modi said, she says & Khele Hobey, Didi says & Khela Hobey, but BJP says & Vikas Hobey. First the Left government and then the TMC government did not allow industries to grow here. The kind of work that should have been done for irrigation was not done. The TMC government was busy with its ‘farm’. I know that due to less water, livestock have to face problems in raising livestock.
PM Modi further questioned, “Didi, year after year, you have not even been able to build a bridge, and now you are talking about industry and development?”.
He assured the people that after the formation of the BJP government, there would be development in West Bengal, which would make life easier for the people and their problems would be dealt with on priority. .The Prime Minister accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government of depriving water people of water and giving them migration and discriminatory governance, leading to the region being recognized as one of the most backward regions of the country.
PM said, ‘Mamta didi suddenly seems to be changing. This is due to the displeasure of the people of Bengal who are getting everything done by Didi. The memory of the people of Bengal is very sharp. People remember how many people had scolded Mamta after getting down from the car. The public also remembers that you accused the army of coup. People have not forgotten who you stood with after the Pulwama attack.
Remembering the cultural heritage of Purulia, PM Narendra Modi said that it is a holy land. PM Modi said that there has been a shortage of water here today. Women have to go far for water. First, the leftists did not let the business flourish here. I also know the difficulty in raising animals. The TMC is engaged in its own game, leaving the farming-industry and the industry on its own. These people have given Purulia a life full of water crisis. The TMC has given the area an escape, wound regime. These people have identified Purulia as the most backward area of the country.
