Prime Minister Narendra Modi can hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states in view of the growing case of Corona in the country. The sources were quoted as saying that on March 17, the Prime Minister will discuss the growing cases of Corona with the Chief Ministers of all the states. This virtual meeting will take place at 12.30 pm. This meeting is being organized by the Prime Minister at a time when Corona has reached 25 thousand daily as compared to 10 thousand daily at the beginning of this year.
Prime Minister Modi will speak to the Chief Ministers across the country for the first time after the commencement of the vaccination campaign. It is being said that Prime Minister Modi can discuss vaccination campaign in this meeting apart from the rising outbreak of Corona virus. However, in view of the growing case of Corona, many state governments have again started to increase vigor. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has also said that due to negligence, once again infection cases are increasing rapidly in many states.
According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 26,291 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. After which the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 1,13,85,339. At the same time, 118 new deaths have also occurred due to Corona, after which the total number of deaths has increased to 1,58,725. The total number of active cases in the country is 2,19,262 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,10,07,352. A total of 2,99,08,038 people have been vaccinated with the Corona virus in the country.
Significantly, new cases of corona infection are continuously coming up in Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. During the last 24 hours, more than 26 thousand new cases were found in the country, of which 78 percent cases are from these five states. At the same time, more than 63 percent of these cases have been found only in Maharashtra.
