PM Modi Warns of ‘Bimaru Rajya’ if Congress Wins Madhya Pradesh Election, Highlights BJP’s Governance

If the Congress wins the election in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi issues a warning about the return of "bimaru rajya."

PM Modi: Speaking today in the next election state of Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi warned that if the Congress party wins re-election, the state will become “bimaru rajya.” He made fun of Congress, claiming that the group will devastate Madhya Pradesh like it had done to every state it had ever controlled.

Prime Minister Modi Criticizes Congress Governance

“The BJP has been ruling in Madhya Pradesh for over 20 years. The present youth of Madhya Pradesh are lucky that they have not witnessed the bad governance of the Congress government. After independence, Congress ruled Madhya Pradesh for a long time and made it a ‘bimaru rajya’. But we have brought it back to its feet,” Prime Minister Modi remarked on Monday in Bhopal while speaking at the BJP’s Karyakarta Mahakumbh. According to PM Modi, the Congress has become a “company that sources everything from Urban Naxals, including its leaders and slogans.” “Congress was destroyed first, and now someone else is in charge of them. Do you know the person in charge of them? The Urban Naxals, he declared.

PM Modi Highlights BJP’s Achievements in Poverty Alleviation and Women’s Empowerment

He claimed that the “double engine government” of the BJP is working assiduously to ensure that Madhya Pradesh’s residents never experience similar hardships. “The years ahead will be very important for Madhya Pradesh… It would be a significant loss for the state if Congress, a dynasty party and a corrupt party, were to win the election, according to PM Modi. Around 13.5 crore individuals, according to the prime minister, were liberated from poverty. “BJP has managed to free 13.5 crore people from poverty. That is more than the population of Madhya Pradesh. It’s because Modi’s guarantees never go empty,” he said. “We also passed the women’s reservation bill in the Lok Sabha for women, which was also part of the promise. With this bill, India has scripted history,” he said, emphasizing that under his regime, there’s a “guarantee for every guarantee”. The response to the “Karyakarta Mahakumbh,” according to Prime Minister Modi, “shows what people have on their minds.” “This demonstrates the vigour of the BJP activists… Madhya Pradesh is the nation’s heart… State residents have consistently backed the BJP. “The state is not only the BJP‘s ideology, but also the focal point of its development vision,” he said.

BJP’s Grand Rally in Bhopal Marks Culmination of Jan Ashirwad Yatras

The ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ marked the official completion of the BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatras’ and was held at Bhopal’s Jamboree Maidan on the anniversary of the birth of Jana Sangh co-founder Deendayal Upadhyaya. The event, which will mark PM Modi‘s seventh visit to the state in the last six months, is predicted to draw one million attendees from all around the state. Prior to speaking at the “Mahakumbh,” Prime Minister Modi began a half-kilometer-long tour. To make this procession easier, a special road has been built at the location. In accordance with the program’s schedule, Modi arrived at the Bhopal airport at around 10:55 AM and then took a helicopter to the helipad at Jamboree Maidan.

Massive Pre-Election Rally in Madhya Pradesh Marks Conclusion of Jan Ashirwad Yatras

The gathering is being described as the biggest pre-election rally for the party. Additionally, it would be the end of the Jan Ashirwad Yatras, which started in five different places across the state. Party members from each of the 230 assembly districts have been invited. At the Jamboree grounds, BJP workers have constructed five water-resistant pandals, the largest of which is situated in front of the PM’s stage and has a capacity for 60,000 people. To make sitting for party workers easier, two extra domes have been built on either side of the main dome. 42 sectors with a combined capacity of 1,500 people make up the total region.

Prime Minister Modi at the Helm for Madhya Pradesh Elections

Notably, the BJP has not yet declared a candidate for chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. According to rumours, the party plans to run for office with Prime Minister Modi at the forefront. The phrase “MP ke man mein Modi and Modi ke man mein MP” has been adopted by the party as its election theme, highlighting the pivotal role that Prime Minister Modi will play in the state’s electoral campaign. Modi has visited the state six times in the past, visiting 94 assembly seats in 22 districts and addressing a variety of concerns, including poverty, Dalits, tribal people, and Pasmanda Muslims. In his talks, he has also attacked the Congress and other opposition parties, bringing up topics like nepotism, corruption, and appeasement.

Kamal Nath Accuses Chouhan of Falsehoods Ahead of PM’s Visit

Before the Prime Minister’s visit, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was criticised by the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath, for his “habit of lying” and warned to refrain from doing so this time. In a tweet posted early on Monday, Kamal Nath wrote, “Be patient today. Whenever the Prime Minister comes to Madhya Pradesh, you involve him in one or the other lie. Along with the people of Madhya Pradesh, the Prime Minister is also troubled by the double speed of your lie machine. That is why he has excluded you from the entire election campaign. You have become the first Chief Minister of the country who is the Chief Minister but is not the face of the Chief Minister.” He went on to detail the instances where Chouhan is said to have deceived the public. “You told him in Rewa that the income of farmers has more than doubled, whereas in his NITI Aayog report, the income of farmers of Madhya Pradesh had decreased,” he wrote. “ He was thus framed in another lie. Your lies about gas cylinder prices have also hit the Prime Minister. You promise people a gas cylinder for Rs 450, but never give it. But when the Prime Minister says it will cost Rs 900, it makes him look bad,” he wrote. “During the Prime Minister’s visit to Sagar district, you told him that the Congress government did not pay attention to Bundelkhand whereas the UPA government had given a special Bundelkhand package of Rs 7200 crore to the Bundelkhand region. Although your loyalty and dedication towards lies is well known, we hope that the people of Madhya Pradesh will not see any new lies today,” Kamal Nath concluded.
