Priyanka Gandhi raises questions on the impartiality of the Election Commission

The game of election allegations and counter-allegations is going on in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. Meanwhile, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra surrounded the Election Commission (EC) and the administration. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that all the big leaders of BJP are doing door-to-door campaigns these days and huge crowds are also being seen with the leaders.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted on Saturday and said, ‘BJP leaders campaign with the crowd, talk hateful things. No action of administration. But the Congress party was stopped from releasing the youth manifesto in Prayagraj today. Under the pressure of the government, the Election Commission and the administration are engaged in suppressing the agenda of the youth and crushing the democracy. Fairness?’

Earlier, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel had also raised questions on the impartiality of the Election Commission. CM Bhupesh Baghel had said that Home Minister Amit Shah is doing door-to-door campaign with 5 people.

Taking a sarcasm, he said that the Election Commission should make his video demo by declaring him as the brand ambassador of door-to-door campaign, otherwise questions will continue on the impartiality of the Election Commission. He asked why the FIR was only on the Chief Minister of Congress?

Significantly, these days the electoral battle is going on in the political parties in Uttar Pradesh. Home Minister Amit Shah himself is reaching people’s door to door asking for votes for BJP. All the central leaders of BJP are doing door-to-door campaign. At the same time, the Congress alleges that they were also stopped from releasing the youth manifesto in Prayagraj, UP.
