Rahul Gandhi’s Positive Electoral Outlook! Telangana, MP, Chhattisgarh, and a Tight Race in Rajasthan

Rahul Gandhi, a well-known Congress leader, voiced confidence in his party's chances of winning elections in several Indian states, claiming that Telangana is likely to go their way, that Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are lock-and-key, and that Rajasthan will be a tight race.

Rahul Gandhi, a Congress member, claimed today at a gathering in Delhi that the BJP will experience a “surprise” in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and that his party will triumph in the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. Additionally, he discussed a “very important lesson” the Congress learned in Karnataka, where they took office earlier this year, and how they have since made adjustments.

Rahul Gandhi’s Optimistic Assessment of Congress’ Electoral Prospects

“Right now, we are probably winning Telangana, we are certainly winning Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, we are very close in Rajasthan, and we think we will be able to win. That’s what BJP is also saying internally,” Rahul Gandhi can be heard saying in a video posted on X by his party. The former Congress president claimed that the lesson learned from Karnataka was that the BJP wins elections by confusing voters and preventing them from telling their own stories.

“And so what we did in Karnataka, we fought the election in a way where the BJP could not define the narrative. What you’re seeing today, Bidhuri, and then suddenly this Nishikant Dubey, this is all the BJP trying to distract from the idea of the Caste census. They know that it’s a fundamental thing the people want, and they don’t want to have that discussion,” In response to BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s recent racial epithets directed at BSP MP Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said.

Rahul Gandhi Slams ‘One Nation, One Election’ Concept as BJP’s Distraction Strategy

Rahul Gandhi stated the concept of “One Nation, One Election” was meant to divert attention away from the actual problems that the people were facing while speaking at a conference hosted by the Pratidin Media Network of Assam. He declared, “It’s one of the BJP‘s  distraction strategies.” According to him, the biggest problems in India are rising prices, huge inequality in wealth, huge unemployment, and huge unfairness against the lower castes, OBCs, and tribal tribes.

Opposition Succeeding Despite Financial and Media Attacks

Rahul Gandhi also said that the opposition parties are succeeding despite being under “financial and media attack” According to Rahul Gandhi, the opposition group INDIA is currently engaged in conflict with the Indian state rather than a political party. “We are trying to protect India as an idea. And for that reason, we have chosen the name INDIA,” he continued.
