Vaccine shortage

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday about the vaccination released in the country. In his letter, Rahul has asked the Prime Minister to ban the export of Corona vaccine and vaccinate people of all ages.

Referring to the rise in Corona cases, the Wayanad MP has said that the government should also approve the use of other vaccines in the country.

Rahul alleged that due to lack of 'far-reaching policy' and 'poor management' of the central government, the hard work of the scientific community is going 'waste'.

'Slow Running Vaccination'
Rahul said in his letter, 'India has taken the lead in starting the vaccination process but this process is going on very slowly and in three months, we still have less than one percent of our total population. Have been able to get vaccinated.

Countries with a large population have done vaccination more effectively. If the rate of vaccination in the country is now increased according to that rate, then 75 percent of the population will take years to vaccinate. '

He further wrote, 'There is no clear reason why the government exported a large number of vaccines? There has been a shortage of vaccines in the country but more than 60 million vaccines have been exported.

There is a shortage of vaccine in the states. The Congress leader said that his party has made the country a leader in vaccine production in the last 70 years and is proud of it.

The special thing is that there are reports of vaccine deficiency in many places in Maharashtra.

In a recent report, it has been claimed that 25 out of 71 private vaccine centers in Mumbai, which are called the economic capital, have been closed. Earlier, State Health Minister Rajesh Tope has also claimed lack of vaccine.

He compared Maharashtra to Gujarat on vaccine allocation. At the same time, NCP leader and Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule also made a large number in Pune.

However, the government is constantly denying that there is a shortage of vaccines. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said about the states that the vaccine is in sufficient quantity. He has accused the states of showing off.

The Ministry of External Affairs has also given clarification regarding vaccine exports. He stressed on Thursday that India has not banned the export of corona virus vaccine.

The Ministry has said that taking care of the country's domestic needs, the Made in India vaccine will continue to be sent abroad. India has also delivered free vaccines to many countries of the world.
