Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot Calls for Department of Peace and Nonviolence, Challenges BJP’s Approach

CM Ashok Gehlot said that if the BJP-led Centre truly believes in democracy and the Constitution, it should establish a department of peace and nonviolence similar to what his government has done. Gehlot was addressing at the Rajasthan Gandhi Darshan Sammelan on Wednesday.

Gehlot Criticizes BJP’s Religious Electoral Strategy

Gehlot accused the BJP of securing electoral victory in the name of religion and claimed that doing so is simple and not courageous. Gehlot emphasised that when he learned about the rapidity of progress, he, too, was taken aback.

Gehlot Expresses Surprise at the Swift Operation of the Department

What is the issue with criticism if it is true that it can be improved? He questioned the crowd, “How would the right thing come out if there is no criticism?
