Shiv Sena (UBT) to Host INDIA Coalition’s Key Meeting in Mumbai on August 31-Sept 1, Sanjay Raut Announces

Sanjay Raut: According to party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut, the Shiv Sena (UBT) of Uddhav Thackeray will host the third meeting of the opposition bloc INDIA in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1. After a meeting of the Maha Vikas Aghadi in this regard, Raut informed the media that Thackeray will host five chief ministers and other opposition figures for dinner on August 31. The two-day conversations will start in the evening of August 31 and last until 10 a.m. on September 1 at the Grand Hyatt in the suburbs. The meeting would be followed by a press conference, according to Raut.

MVA Leaders Gear Up for INDIA Meeting Success

He added that MVA leaders would speak with the state government on planning and security for visiting guests, including Rahul Gandhi of the Congress. “The MVA leaders who met today resolved to ensure the INDIA meeting is a success on the lines of the ones in Patna and Bengaluru. We have assigned responsibilities to each of the leaders for preparations of the two-day meeting,” Raut was quoted by PTI in its report.

Sharad Pawar, the founder of the NCP, along with his party’s state unit leader Jayant Patil and national working president Supriya Sule, as well as the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray and associates Subhash Desai and Raut, the former chief ministers of the Congress Prithviraj Chavan and Ashok Chavan, Congress Legislature Party leader Balasaheb Thorat, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Vija. A newly formed opposition alliance of 26 parties, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), was formed to take on the National Democratic Alliance, which is now led by the BJP.
