On September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many events are going to be held across the country. Somewhere blood donation will be organised and somewhere service fortnight will be run. But something different is being done in Tamil Nadu. Here on September 17, the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party will give gold rings to newborn children. The children who are born on this day will be given a ring of about 2 grams.

Along with this 720 kg of fish will also be distributed. “We have chosen the Government RSRM Hospital in Chennai where all children born on PM Modi’s birthday will be given gold rings,” said L Murugan, Minister of State for Fisheries and Information and Broadcasting. Each ring will be of around 2 grams of gold, which can cost around Rs 5000. He said that this is not Rewari given free of cost.

Rather, through this we want to welcome those born on the birthday of the Prime Minister. BJP’s local unit estimates that 10-15 babies can be born in this hospital on September 17.

A restaurant owner in Delhi is also all set to launch a special ‘Thali’ to make the day special. The ARDOR 2.0 restaurant at Connaught Place will be offering a sizable thali containing 56 items. Customers will have the option of both veg and non-veg. ARDOR 2.0 restaurant located in Connaught Place, Delhi has come up with this unique idea. Restaurant owner Sumit Kalara said, “I have a lot of respect for PM Modi. He is the pride of our country. We want to gift something unique on his birthday. We decided to launch this thali. We have named it ’56 inch Modi ji’.

He further said, “We want to gift this plate to him. We want him to come and eat here. But, we cannot do this due to security reasons. So this is for his fans who love him dearly.”
