In West Bengal, a Trinamool Congress MP has named the state governor Jagdeep Dhankhar as a butcher of democracy. On this Jagdeepp Dhankar said that he is a senior leader. He is a senior advocate. He is a senior MP. I am hurt by his words, but leave this to the wisdom of the cultured people of Bengal and the media. He will decide it. He has also tagged Mamta Banerjee, Lok Sabha Secretariat and Bar Council as well as the Editors Guild.
Earlier, Kalyan Banerjee gave a scathing speech to Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and the Central Government at an event organized at Risra in Hooghly district. This bumbling MP of Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress appealed to the public to file a lawsuit against Governor Shri Dhankhar in every police station of the state.
Mr. Banerjee said that he knows that the post of Governor is a constitutional post. I am aware of the constitution and its provisions. I know that as long as he is in the post of Governor, no criminal case can be prosecuted against him. They cannot be sent to jail. But, the day he steps down, he will have to go to the same Presidency Jail, where he has sent 4 big leaders of Bengal .
