Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia attacks Rahul Gandhi, here’s what he says

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has fiercely attacked the Congress leader over a tweet by Rahul Gandhi. Scindia replied to Rahul Gandhi in a tweet thread on Monday and asked him three questions.

The Union Minister said- ‘It is clear that now you have been limited to a troll. Instead of making baseless allegations against me and diverting people’s attention from the main issues, why don’t you answer these three questions?’

Scindia asked three questions

Jyotiraditya Scindia asked Rahul Gandhi the first question regarding the backward classes. He said- ‘Why don’t you apologize for your derogatory statement? On the contrary, you said that I am not Savarkar ji, will not apologise.’

The Union Minister asked Rahul Gandhi another question regarding the court. He questioned, ‘Why are you putting pressure on the court on which the Congress has always pointed fingers for its own selfishness?’

Scindia asked the third question regarding law and order. He questioned Rahul Gandhi, ‘Why should the rules be different for you? Do you consider yourself a first class citizen? You are so engrossed in arrogance that perhaps the importance of these questions is beyond your understanding.

Adani Group told the report wrong

The Adani Group rejected the report citing which Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Adani Group by quoting the ‘Financial Times’ report, terming it as wrong. In a report published on 22 March 2023 by ‘Financial Times’ regarding the investment of benami companies, it was said that between 2017 and 2022, 20 thousand crore rupees were invested in the group through foreign benami companies.

Now Adani Group has made public a letter written to the Financial Times, in which it has explained why this report is wrong and how its reporters deliberately ignored the facts.

Adani Group has said that the money earned by the promoters of the company by selling stake in two companies of the group was actually invested in the new companies of the group.

Congress has already been targeted

Even before this, Jyotiraditya Scindia had made a scathing attack on Congress and Rahul Gandhi. He had said that the Congress has no ideology left. The Congress now has only one ideology left, that of a traitor, an ideology that works against the country. He criticized the Congress for giving “special treatment” to Rahul Gandhi after he was convicted in a defamation case.

Scindia was once considered close to Rahul Gandhi. He left the party after differences with the Congress leadership and joined the BJP in 2020. Now he is the Civil Aviation Minister.
