UP News: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the president of SBSP, has not yet gotten an invitation to join the Yogi administration, despite repeated conversations. Though nothing concrete, Rajbhar had intimated to the media that he might be included in the UP administration until Dussehra. With OP Rajbhar’s most recent remarks, a new kind of conversation has begun.
Post-Cabinet Expansion Plans
Rumours are circulating that Rajbhar would return before the Lok Sabha elections. He claimed to be in contact with numerous opposition India Alliance leaders in an interview with Bharat Samachar. ‘Following cabinet expansion, we will make a choice. Who we choose to live with and who we don’t will be decided by us,’ he said. According to Rajbhar, ‘all leaders are deceitful snakes. Who will turn where and when is unknown. A party is never a milkshake.’
Allegations against Akhilesh Yadav
Additionally, Rajbhar openly took a jibe Dimple Yadav and Akhilesh. ‘Akhilesh had initially declared that no member of his family will run for office, but Rajbhar alleged that Akhilesh later entered Dimple Yadav in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha by-election.’ Notably, Rajbhar and the SP had previously run together in the polls but have since split.
Disproving Expansion Speculations
Let us inform you that Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met a few days ago. Following this, Dara Singh Chauhan and OP Rajbhar arrived in Lucknow. Just before Diwali, it was thought that both may swear oaths as ministers. It turned out that the rumours that this expansion would also take place near Vijayadashami were unfounded.
Query on Rajbhar’s Ministerial Position
When would Rajbhar himself become a minister, someone questioned. Rajbhar responded to this by asking, “Be patient. Is Vijayadashami today?” His statements raised rumours that he may be join to the Yogi government around Dussehra, but that did not materialise.
