Uttarakhand Polls : Arvind Kejriwal Announces His Agenda

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is in Haridwar on his Uttarakhand tour to give edge to the election strategy in the last days of elections. In his three-day special tour, he has made many election promises to the public after meeting the state unit of the party.

Kejriwal, who took over the election front of Uttarakhand from Dharma Nagari, has promised 24 hours electricity to the state in his press conference. During this, many leaders including Colonel (R.) Kothiyal were present on the stage with him. According to sources, till Tuesday, Kejriwal will stay here in Haridwar and meet the candidates and the office bearers of AAP and discuss the election. During this, Kejriwal promised to give an amount of 1 crore to the families of the martyred soldiers as honor money and said that paramilitary and police personnel will also be included in this.

He took election feedback by holding a review meeting with party officials. Along with this, gave a mantra to win the Uttarakhand elections. In his press conference, he also said that if the people of the state elect his party and send it to power, then every family will get a benefit of about Rs 10 lakh in five years.

CM Kejriwal said, ‘Every person will get free pilgrimage to see Ram Lalla. Will make Uttarakhand the spiritual capital of Hindus. At the same time, reservation will be given to ex-servicemen in Uttarakhand government jobs.’

Addressing a press conference in Haridwar today, Mr Kejriwal said, “We will make Uttarakhand an international spiritual capital for Hindus. This will enhance tourism extensively. We hope that it will provide employment to thousands of youth here.”

Aam Aadmi Party’s District Media Coordinator Hema Bhandari told that the CM of Delhi is staying in a hotel in SIDCUL located in Haridwar. Kejriwal will meet the candidates contesting from the AAP from Haridwar district. Kejriwal’s presence in Uttarakhand for 3 consecutive days is expected to give impetus to the party’s campaign in Uttarakhand.
