“We are not running the government, we are just managing it,” Karnataka Law Minister

Speculation about changing the Chief Minister in Karnataka has been coming since long time. Although Karnataka BJP general secretary and state in-charge Arun Singh had recently put an end to these speculations by saying that the BJP will fight the next assembly election of Karnataka on the face of Basavaraj Bommai, but this statement of Arun Singh is to reduce the difficulties of CM Bommai.

Actually, an audio of law minister JC Madhuswamy in Karnataka government has been leaked, in which he is saying that we are not running the government, we are just managing it. CM Bommai is now facing a lot of embarrassment over this audio clip of JC Madhuswamy.

The Chief Minister himself has confirmed the veracity of this audio clip. However, he has said that the meaning of this audio clip is being taken out.

This audio clip of Madhuswamy has increased the difficulties of the CM, as there have been reports of dissatisfaction in the state for a long time about the CM and it is also being said that he can be removed before the upcoming elections. Basavaraj Bommai became the Chief Minister in the year 2021. He was made CM in place of BS Yediyurappa. This was the time when BJP changed chief ministers in Uttarakhand and Gujarat.

After this whole incident, BS Yediyurappa also says that there is no danger to Basavaraj Bommai. His chair will remain intact. On the other hand, Basavaraj Bommai has said about the audio leak of his minister, “Everything is good, there is no problem.” However, senior minister ST Somashekar has demanded the resignation of the law minister. He has said that Madhuswamy should resign from his post immediately.
