West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee once again attacked Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar fiercely, called him corrupt

West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee once again attacked Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar fiercely and even called him corrupt. Mamta Banerjee said that Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar is a corrupt person, his name had appeared in the 1996 Jain Hawala case chargesheet. However, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar called the allegation against him baseless and retaliated on Mamta Banerjee.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a press conference today, in which she publicly made some serious allegations. This is very unfortunate. I did not expect that she would give false information and misrepresent it to create sensation.

The Chief Minister alleged, “Why did he suddenly visit North Bengal? I am sensing a conspiracy to divide North Bengal. The Trinamool Congress chief said that she has written several letters to the Center to remove Dhankhar. But the central government should act on the basis of my letters.”

Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said, “There is no charge sheet against your governor. There is no such document. That’s a lie. I cannot expect this from a senior politician. I have not taken a stay from any court in the hawala charge sheet, because there is no such thing.”

There has been a lot of bitterness between Mamta and Dhankhar since the beginning. The Governor has often surrounded the Mamata government regarding the law and order situation of West Bengal, so there has been no hesitation in cursing the Governor from the ruling Trinamool Congress.
