Why Anurag Thakur Trolled After BJP's Himachal Loss

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said on Thursday that he respects the people's mandate in Himachal Pradesh and his party will continue to work in the interest of the state. Thakur said that he hoped that the new Congress government in Himachal Pradesh would remain committed to the development of the state. He led the BJP's vigorous election campaign for the assembly elections in his home state.

The Union Minister said, “We fully respect the mandate given to the BJP in Himachal Pradesh. New dimensions of development were established in Himachal Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and we hope that the new Congress government will also be dedicated to the development of Himachal.

He said, 'Whatever the election result, we will always be in the service of the state in the role of a servant with full solidarity as before and will stand for the interests of the state.'

BJP lost all seats in Hamirpur

Congress has won 40 seats in the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections. Whereas BJP has got 25 seats. Anurag Thakur is being trolled fiercely on the defeat of BJP in Himachal. The reason behind this is that he failed to make BJP win in his own constituency. Anurag Thakur is a resident of Hamirpur. Here BJP lost all the five seats. The Congress had won from here in the last assembly elections as well. Thakur is also a four-time MP from here. BJP has suffered a major setback in Hamirpur. This time independent MLA Ashish Sharma has won from Hamirpur.

Said this on Gujarat victory

At the same time, on the election results of Gujarat, Anurag Thakur said that this is the victory of BJP's development model. The BJP has come to power in Gujarat for the seventh consecutive time. He said, 'The landslide victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat is the result of the immense love and blessings of the people of Gujarat towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said, "This victory is the victory of the people of Gujarat, the victory of the BJP's development model, and the victory of good governance for more than two decades."

Thakur said that this victory was possible due to the efficient leadership of the Prime Minister, the chairmanship of BJP President JP Nadda, the public welfare policies of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the organizational skills of State BJP President CR Patil and the tireless hard work of BJP workers.
