Will BJP form government in Assam? Or will Congress will come back

Counting has started in a total of 2364 centers for the assembly elections held in four states and one union territory. This time due to Corona, the number of counting centers has been increased by 200 percent.

West Bengal has the highest number of 1113 centers, 633 in Kerala, 331 in Assam, 256 in Tamil Nadu and 31 centers in Puducherry. Electoral trends have also started coming up with the counting of votes.

Early trends of counting of votes show a tough fight between the Trinamool Congress and the BJP in Bengal. However, Trinamool has got a majority in the trends. At the same time, the Left is looking to make an edge in Kerala.

In view of the Assam Assembly elections, the results are now coming to the fore. At present, the BJP is leading in trends from the Congress, while it is ahead in 4 other seats. There is a tough competition between the BJP and the Congress party in the state, but the Chief Ministerial candidate has not been announced yet by the BJP.

At present, the Chief Minister of Assam is Sarbananda Sonowal. But Hemant Sharma Biswa is being told as the Chief Minister of Assam. But all eyes are on the Congress innings. However, the BJP is currently ahead in the trends.

In Assam, the NDA is leading in 43 seats and the Congress Grand Alliance is leading in 20 seats. The postal ballot is being counted in the trend so far. In the last assembly election, BJP won 61 seats. Congress got 25 seats and UIDF got 13 seats.


Last time elections were held in Assam in two phases. For the first time, the BJP won here and in 2016, the NDA formed Tarun Gogoi’s government by dropping its government .
