On the occasion of Panchayat Diwas today, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has confessed to give salaries to Sarpanchs and special funds for drug-free villages. Apart from this, many other important announcements have been made which are in public interest. 

Bhagwant Mann: Various programs are being organized on Panchayati Raj Day in different parts of India today. In this sequence, a program was also organized at Tagore Theater in Chandigarh. CM Bhagwant Mann has addressed the gathering here. During this, Punjab CM has given a big gift to the Sarpanchs and announced a salary of Rs 2000 per month for them. Apart from this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mannhas talked about giving special funds to drug-free villages, so that the campaign can gain momentum. The Chief Minister has also emphasized that electricity will be supplied at night where there is a Kassi (the water which usually took out from canal for irrigation or other purposes). Apart from this, some special announcements have been made on Panchayati Raj Day which are in public interest.

Big Announcement By Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann On Panchayati Raj Day!

To make the Panchayati Raj Day special across the country, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made a big announcement. Addressing the program organized at Tagore Theater in Chandigarh, he said that now the village sarpanchs will be given a salary of Rs 2000 every month. Apart from this, a special fund of Rs 1 lakh will be allocated to those villages which will be declared drug-free. It has also been clarified by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that now the land registration process in Punjab has become simple. Words written in Urdu language have been changed to Punjabi, so that people do not face any problem.

CM Mann has also talked about running a campaign to repair the village roads on Panchayati Raj Day. At the same time, under the NREGA scheme, people will now be given work when there is no work in the villages. In such a situation, the beneficiaries will be benefited and their work will be easy.

Bhagwant Mann Government Will Construct A Playground In Every Village!

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has clearly said that the development of the state is possible only through the development of villages. Now, a playground will be constructed in every village. Apart from this, problems related to electricity, water and ponds in the villages will also be solved. CM Bhagwant Mann has said to give priority to these works. Also, Sarpanchs have been asked to plant four trees around the motor, so that the environment is not harmed.
