In a significant development for aspirants of the Rajasthan Jail Prahari Recruitment 2025, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has announced an increase in the total number of vacancies. Initially, the recruitment was announced for 803 posts, but with an additional 165 posts now included, the total number of positions has risen to 968.

According to Board Chairman Alok Raj, the recruitment exam, held on April 12 across 38 districts, saw a turnout of 6,10,168 candidates out of the 8,20,942 who applied, marking an attendance rate of approximately 74.33%. The recruitment falls under the non-CET category, and the Board is using the normalization process to finalize results. The results are expected to be released by the end of this month.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has also declared the final results for the Animal Attendant Direct Recruitment 2023. The examination was conducted for 5,713 non-TSP posts and 720 TSP posts, making a total of 6,433 posts. Held on December 1, 2, and 3, 2024, the recruitment process has concluded with the selection list for 5,778 posts now available. Interestingly, the cut-off marks for OBC and MBC candidates were higher than those for the EWS category in the non-TSP area.
Non-TSP cut-off marks stood at: General – 130.8425 (Women: 123.8471), EWS – 123.4539 (Women: 114.9427), SC – 115.8318 (Women: 107.2229), ST – 111.5795 (Women: 106.7968), OBC – 127.4919 (Women: 119.7350), MBC – 124.1455 (Women: 111.9457), Sahariya – 66.3121 (Women: 61.0155).
