Russia-Ukraine War Live Updates: Russia Announces Ceasefire

Russia’s defence ministry announced a ceasefire Saturday to allow residents of two besieged cities, including the strategic port town of Mariupol, to evacuate.

The US and its allies have accused Russia of attacking Ukraine’s largest nuclear power plant and risking the lives of millions of Europeans.

However, Russia has denied these allegations, claiming that a group in Ukraine is responsible for the fire at the nuclear power plant.

US President Joe Biden said that Russia’s attack on Ukraine is not just an attack on Ukraine, but an attack on Europe and global peace. Biden said that together they have given a joint response against the Russians and are holding Russia accountable for unprovoked and unprovoked attacks against Ukraine.

Amidst reports of escaping from Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appeared and said that I am in Ukraine. I haven’t run anywhere. I am at my own home. Zelensky said this by releasing a video.

Today is the 10th day of the Ukraine-Russia war. Russia has so far fired more than 500 missiles. During the war 1.2 million people have left Ukraine.
