RV 400: Revolt Motors, an electric vehicle (EV) business owned by the Rattanindia Group, announced on Monday that bookings for its AI-enabled RV400 motorcycle are once again open. The Revolt RV 400, the first electric motorcycle in the nation, has a swappable battery pack and can operate at a level comparable to a 125cc petroleum motorcycle.
The token amount has been fixed at Rs 2,499, and deliveries must be made by March 31.
A 3kW motor operates in conjunction with the battery to produce 54Nm of torque. The AI-enabled motorcycle has a top speed of 85 kph and an ARAI-certified range of 156 kilometres. Revolt wants to reach 100% localization by the end of the fiscal year 2020.
Features
With a top speed of 85kmph and a stated maximum range of 120km, it has three riding modes: eco, sport, and power. There are also additional features including OTA updates, LED lighting, and a fully digital console. The RV400's interchangeable battery pack is one of its best features. This enables the owners to quickly swap out the dead battery for a fresh one. The braking system has a front and rear disc brake with CBS, and it is supported by USD front forks and a mono-shock setup.
