SBI report: The third wave of corona may come next month, will peak in September

In a report published by SBI Research, 'Covid-19 The Race to the Finishing Line', it has been said that the only means of prevention of the epidemic is vaccination. Global data has shown that extreme cases of the third wave can be up to 1.7 times more severe than in the second wave.

In this report, Soumya Kanti Ghosh, Chief Economic Advisor, SBI Group, said that on May 7, India saw the peak of the second wave of Corona. He said that depending on the current situation, from August 21, the cases of corona virus infection may start increasing again.

He further said that with the increase in the cases of corona infection from August 21, it will continue to increase for at least a month till the peak is reached. This situation can happen in September. However, the current situation shows that the second wave of corona is not over in the country yet.
