Scam 2003 The Telgi Story review: Gagan Dev Riar gives stellar performance as Abdul Karin Telgi

Scam 2003 The Telgi Story review: Tushar Hirandani directed web series showcased the story of Abdul Karim Telgi and it impressed the audience.

Scam 2003 The Telgi Story review:Scam 1992‘ gave us the Hansal Mehta-coordinated Harshad Mehta story, and the 2020 show remains high on the best Indian web series list. Now, he is back with another web series stamp-paper forger Abdul Karim Telgi in Scam 2003′, in view of Sanjay Singh’s book ‘Telgi Scam: Reporter’s Ki Diary’ which was produced by Hansal Mehta and directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The “system” that governs us, a system that keeps the common man out of power and wealth circles, was exposed by Telgi’s “daring toh karna padega darling” schemes, which gave him unimaginable returns. Despite Telgi’s capture and subsequent death in prison, years after their deaths, there is a great deal of admiration and sympathy for the crooks Mehta and Telgi because they came from nothing and got everything, even if it was only briefly.

Scam 1992 gave amazing experience

This new series is sure to be compared to the first, which was a sharp and insightful portrait of India before liberalization and how the Big Bull consistently found all the soft spots to press on his heady journey to the top of the stock market, despite the fact that comparisons are odious. The entire performance by Pratik Gandhi as Harshad Mehta was extremely entertaining.

This web series shows stamp paper scam of a fruit seller from Karnataka whose ambition is unstoppable. Furthermore, that is the test, not too far off, before the creators: When the main character and his cohorts—an endless series of complicit cops and corrupt netas who were happy to dip their avaricious hands into Telgi’s “behti ganga”—are as shady as the crime they are committing, how can you make this one as entertaining as the previous one?

Gagan Dev Riar as Telgi is breathtaking, his non-verbal communication emphatically standard — a face like millions in the group, shrub shirt swelling over a jutting stomach-which conceals an extremely sharp brain continuously dealing with how to excel. ‘Paisa kamaana nahin hai, banaana hai’, he tells everybody around him, and, surprisingly, as an early companion and partner abandons him, the rest, including a caring spouse and little girl, sibling and mother, keep him protected by their confidence in him.

Gagan Dev Riar impresses with his acting

It’s quite boring to watch a politician opening their mouth excessively wide. This web series shows the same. How Telgi figures out how to get through to a super legitimate chief of the ‘sarkaari’ post like Nashik processing plant liable for printing stamp papers, is a special case. In any case, as a general rule, his friends as well as the series rely on him liven things up. Gagan Dev Riar has given a stellar performance in the series and he left a lasting impact on him.
