Simple One electric scooter to launch on THIS date, likely to offer 300kms of range and many modern features, all you should know

Simple One electric scooter: The Simple One Electric will be introduced on May 23, 2023, and the event will take place in Bangalore, according to Simple Energy. Suhas Rajkumar, the founder and CEO of the company, stated that the organisation has been testing its electric scooter for the past two years. He said that Simple Energy is the only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to comply with the AIS 156 Amendment 3 that offers the battery additional security. The powertrain and battery system of this e-scooter are said to be robust, and it has a great appearance.

Simple One electric scooter specifications

The Simple One electric scooter has an 8.5kW electric engine and a 4.8kWh detachable battery pack. The maximum torque this motor can produce is 72Nm. The business claims that this scooter would have the segment’s highest range of 300 km per charge. It will also receive the most secure battery system ever. This scooter has a top speed of 105 kmph and can go from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.85 seconds.

Features

The Simple One electric scooter will have a combination front and rear disc brake system available as a braking system. Along with the floorboard, it receives 30 litres of under-seat storage. Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue are the four available colour options for it. Additionally, a touchscreen instrument cluster with several control features and app connectivity will be offered.

Price in India

Early in 2022, Simple One electric scooters were introduced, with the base model costing Rs. 1.10 lakh and the extended range model costing Rs. 1.45 lakh. The scooter has a single battery pack that is standard and has a 236-kilometre range in ECO mode. Although its updated model might cost a little more.
