Power Train
Fourth Genration Supeb shares its powertrain with second Geneation Skoda Kodiaq. Company offers five engine options in this vehicle which includes 2 petrol variants, 2 Diesel Varainnts and 1 Plug-in Hybrid EV Variant, this Hyrid EV Variant will be known as Superb iV which will be powered with 25.7 kWh battery pack with a 1.5 litre TSI Engine, this engine will generates 204 bhp maximum power in the combined mode. Hybrid 1.5 litre TSI Engine will come with 6 Speed Automatic Gearbox, according to the company Superb PHEV will have more than 100 km drive range in electric mode. Skoda has provided the same engine in the entry level fourth genertion Skoda Superb, but this engine will come combined with a Mild-hybrid system and 6 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, comapany has given a 2.0 litre TSI engine as a secondary engine which can generate the maximum power of 204 bhp and 265 bhp, both engine will have a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.

Fourth Generation Skoda Superb will have premium features like a 12.9 inches Touchscreen display, steering column mounted drive selector. Skoda has made clear that this Superb will have a digital control setup also with a conventional manual option as well. Safety features of the car includes ADAS, 10 Airbags with a central airbag between the front seats of the vehicle.

Skoda is currently selling a third Gneration model of the Skoda Superb in India, prices of which starts from Rs. 34.19 and reaches upto Rs. 37.29 lakh.
