Stock Market Update: Brent crude has softened again

Stock Market Update: Global signs are looking better for the domestic stock market today. In today’s business, buying is being seen in major Asian markets. Whereas on the first Thursday, the US markets also closed strong. On Thursday, the Dow gained 322.55 points or 0.98 per cent and closed at 33,291.78.

The S&P 500 index gained 1.41 per cent and closed at 4,199.12. While Nasdaq gained 1.67 per cent and closed at 12,639.27 level.

Brent crude has softened again. Crude is trading close to $100 per barrel in the international market. While US crude is at $ 93 per barrel. The 10-year bond yield in the US stands at 3.05 per cent. Talking about Asian markets, SGX Nifty is up 0.56 percent and Nikkei 225 is up 0.28 percent.

The Straight Times is seeing a 0.26 percent increase and the Hang Seng is seeing a 0.65 percent increase. Taiwan Weighted is also looking strong by 0.73 percent, while Kospi is trading with 0.55 percent and Shanghai Composite is up 0.43 percent.

HDFC Bank has entered into a non-binding term sheet with Go Digit Life Insurance. The bank will invest between Rs 49.9 crore and Rs 69.9 crore in two tranches in the company for an equity stake of up to 9.944 per cent.

Inox Wind Energy said that its board of directors will consider raising funds on August 30. Fund raising will be on the basis of preferential issue or private placement.
