Stock Market Update: Indian Stock Market Witnessing Decline Today

Stock Market Update: The effect of weak signals from the global market and the increase in the interest rate of the US Federal Reserve is also being seen on the Indian stock market. The Indian stock market is witnessing a decline for the second consecutive day. On Thursday (22 September) on the fourth day of this trading week, both Sensex and Nifty opened on the red mark in the Indian domestic stock market.


In early trade, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s major sensitive index Sensex (BSE Sensex) opened at 59,037 with a fall of 419 points today. While the NSE Nifty opened at the level of 17,608 with a softening of 110 points.

A total of 2,814 companies started trading in the BSE today. Out of which about 1,681 shares opened with a rise and 1,009 with a fall. While shares of 124 companies remained stable. At the same time, 89 shares are trading at the 52-week high level and 15 shares are trading at the 52-week low.

Talking about today’s climbing stocks, today the shares of many companies including ITC, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Finance, HUL, NTPC, UltraTech Cement, IndusInd Bank are seeing a rise.

On the other hand, if we look at the falling stocks, the shares of many companies including HDFC, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech, HDFC Bank, Infosys have a declining trend.

Rupee opened with a weakness of 40 paise against the dollar
Against the dollar in the international market, the rupee today opened with a major weakness of 40 paise at Rs 80.37 against the dollar. Earlier, on the last trading day on Wednesday, the rupee closed at Rs 79.97 with a weakness of 22 paise against the dollar.
This was the condition of the market in the last days.

Wednesday (September 21): The Sensex closed at 59,456, down 262 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,718 points down by 97.

Tuesday (September 20): The Sensex closed at 59,719 with a gain of 578 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,816 with a gain of 194.

Monday (September 19): The Sensex closed at 59,141 with a gain of 300 points, while the Nifty climbed 91 points to close at 17,622 points.

Friday (September 16): The Sensex closed 1,093 points down at 58,840, while the Nifty closed at 17,530, down 346 points.

Thursday (September 15): The Sensex closed at 59,934 points, down 413 points. While Nifty closed 126 points down at 17,877 points.
