Stock Market Update: Know About Top Gainers Today

Stock Market Update: Amidst mixed global signals, selling is being seen in the domestic stock market. Both Sensex and Nifty indices have weakened in today's trading. If there is a fall of around 300 points in the Sensex, then the Nifty has also broken down and has come close to 16100.

The bank index on Nifty has weakened by more than half a percent. Weakness is being seen in HCL Tech before the results. At present, there is a weakness of 306 points in the Sensex and it is trading at the level of 54,089.

While Nifty is down 103 points at the level of 16113. Heavyweight stocks are selling. 24 stocks of Sensex 30 are seen in red mark. Today's top gainers are AXISBANK, BHARTIARTL, NTPC, TCS, WIPRO and SBIN.

While the top losers include TITAN, TATASTEEL, BAJAJFINSV, HDFC and HCLTECH.

Talking about global cues, selling is being seen in major Asian markets in today's business. On the other hand, just before the start of the earning season, there was weakness in the US markets on Monday. In the earnings season, it will be clear how much inflation has affected the profits of the companies. Brent crude remains above $100. In the international market, crude is trading at $106 per barrel. US crude is also at $ 103 a barrel. The 10-year bond yield in the US stands at 2.965 per cent.

Bank of Baroda has increased the marginal cost based rate (MCLR) for loans by 0.15 percent. The new rates will be effective from Tuesday. Bank of Baroda said in the information sent to the stock market that the bank has approved the increase in MCLR from July 12, 2022.

Ashok Leyland has appointed Ganesh Mani as the President and Chief of Operations of the company. Mani had joined Ashok Leyland from Hyundai Motors. He will lead the entire operations of the company, including manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain.

Infrastructure company Larsen & Toubro said it has bagged important contracts to build data centers in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with a total capacity of 10.8 MW.

The company will be involved in the design, construction and supply of data centers and allied buildings, including fit-outs.
